Chocolate heaven at Sweet!

Good news for all those sweet-toothed readers….this week Sweet! opened in LA.

At 30,000 square foot, this has to be the biggest, most over the top sweet shop I have ever crossed paths with. Based at the Hollywood and Highland Centre, these guys really have had a load of fun creating a whole load of sugary sensations to tempt even the most cynical of shoppers.

Bang on trend with the whole customer interaction/experience thing, Sweet! boasts twelve themed rooms of goodiness, including a Wonka inventing room (complete with Oompla Loompas) where you can design your own chocolate bar and Lollyland, complete with sweetie trees. The “Sticky Room” probably needs a bit more work on its title even if it does make fresh toffee and I’m not sure how the Nestle Crunch bar will translate with a floor that crunches when you walk on it! But top of my huge question mark of concepts is The Yucky, which includes a a range of sweets you can eat out of a urinal! Really? I would stick with the Ferrari car rally ceiling which drives your chosen gumball around the store.
